Why Pick PhotoSpark?

Let’s be honest, the online dating world is tough. It presents a wide variety of challenges for both men and women, which means you need every advantage you can get. That’s why the photos in your profile are so important. In fact, let’s be honest again: Your photos are THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR PROFILE.

No one in the history of online dating has disliked what they saw in the photos, but then changed their mind after reading the bio.

Yet for some reason, many of us put only a minimal amount of effort into our pictures. We take a handful of selfies or use some old, out-of-date snapshots, and then expect to get results. If that is your strategy, you are wasting your time.

But don’t be fooled. A lot of traditional portrait photographers will make bold claims about what they can do for you. They’ll tell you that they can make you look amazing by using a bunch of lighting and photography tricks. These pictures WILL NOT WORK. They will look way too professional and totally inauthentic. As a result, you’ll either look desperate or narcissistic, neither of which are good.

I started PhotoSpark because I recognized a major gap in the marketplace for dating photos. I haven’t found a single photographer offering to take photos that look good, but not “too good”photos that show you in a flattering light, but also look like they were taken by a friend, not a professional.

I can’t guarantee you that I’m going to get it right in every photo. Some will look too professional, and others not so much. But out of every photo session—which typically involves about 1,500 total pictures—a few dozen will emerge that straddle the line perfectly. They’ll show you in the best possible light at the best possible angle, yet still appear as if they were taken by a friend. This will give them an air of authenticity that other photographers can’t (or won’t) match.

The internet today is filled with the artificial. Whether it’s influencers using facial filters, whether it’s professional models using Photoshop, or it’s AI, the average person is bombarded with “fake-looking” photos all day. That’s why I believe the currency of the future online is authenticity.

At PhotoSpark, I’m going to do everything I can to shine a light on the real you. I want potential dates to not only think you look good, but also feel like they already know you. I want them to see the best aspects of your personality. And as cheesy as it sounds, I want them to see that “spark” in your eyes. It’s that spark that transforms you from a “Random Person on the Internet” into an actual person. And hopefully, a person they would like to get to know.
